Alvernia's main campus entrance is bordered by the picturesque Angelica Park that features hiking trails, a picnic grove and the Environmental Exploration Center.
Anthony Hall
Residence hall with two-room suites that share a bathroom and accommodates 4-5 students per suite. ADA suites are available.
Art Studio
The Art Studio was originally a greenhouse but is now a fully functional art studio with facilities for drawing, painting, pottery and silk-screening.
Assisi Hall
Townhouse units that contain four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a lounge, a kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator and laundry facilities.
Athletics - Track & Schlager Memorial Field
The Track and Schlager Memorial Field is the perfect spot for intramural soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse and a great place to cheer on the Crusaders.

Bernardine Hall (BH)
Bernardine Hall contains state-of-the-art computer labs, SMART classrooms and a lecture hall. It's home to our Tutoring Center, Career Services, Holleran Center for Community Engagement, Student Financial Planning and the Kestrel Cafe and Lounge.
Business & Communication Building
Business, Communication and English faculty offices are located in this building.
Campus Commons
The Campus Commons is home to a two-story fitness center, dance and aerobics studio, computer lab, and campus living room that can accommodate more than 100 students for leisure activities, study and programming. Student services, student leadership, campus ministry and student activities are available under one roof.
Clare Hall
Residence hall that consists of two-room suites that share a bathroom and accommodates up to 5 students per suite. ADA suites are available.
Dr. Frank A. Franco Library Learning Center
The Library is located in the center of the campus. Its constantly growing collection of books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, and electronic resources is designed to support research, independent study, and all academic programs of the university.
Francis Hall
Home to the Theater & Recital Hall and Miller Gallery, Francis Hall - the original Alvernia building - recently underwent major renovations that has transformed the space to include a terraced student plaza, a water feature and patio. It is also home to many offices such as the President and Registrar as well as classrooms and a chapel.
Francis Hall Residence
Francis Hall is also a co-ed residence hall for 60 students that provides single, double, or triple rooms, a large lounge, and laundry area.
Judge Hall
Residence hall situated in the heart of campus that offers suite-style apartments featuring a kitchenette with microwave, dinette, living room and bathroom.
Nursing Resource Center (NRC)
This building contains SMART classrooms, labs and simulation rooms for classes. The NRC also houses the Program in School Health Services Office, as well as faculty and staff offices.
O'Pake Science Center
Alvernia's newest academic building equipped with 10 state-of-the-art laboratory/SMART classrooms.
Physical Education Center (PEC)
Housing a large gymnasium, four locker rooms and weight and fitness rooms, the PEC also includes classrooms and laboratories for the Athletic Training program, and the Courtside Café.
Sacred Heart Chapel & McGlinn Conference Center
Sacred Heart Convent is the Motherhouse of the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters, the sponsoring congregation for Alvernia University. The main building houses the archives and heritage rooms of the congregation, the Sacred Heart Chapel, the Bernardine Franciscan Conference Center, and residence wings for members of the congregation.
Siena Hall
The same as Assisi, Siena also has six townhouses that provide apartment style living. Each townhouse accommodates same gender residents and contains four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a lounge, a kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, and independent laundry facilities.
Student Center (SC)
The Student Center serves as the hub for student activities. The first floor houses a cafeteria with patio dining area, the Crusader Café and the bookstore. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Public Safety are both located on the second floor.
Upland Center (UC)
The Upland Center contains several smart classrooms, computer lab and administrative offices including Institutional Advancement, Marketing and Communications and the Seniors College. The School of Graduate and Adult Education is located on the first floor of the building.
Veronica Hall
A traditional co-ed residence hall, containing double and triple rooms, lounges, recreation areas, laundry, the Holy Savior Chapel, Residence Life and the Health and Wellness Center.
Founders Village Apartments
Newly built residence halls for upperclassmen offering sizes to complement many different living arrangements, from 2-person efficiencies, 5-person apartments to 12-person community living spaces with double and single bedrooms. Included in these apartments and pods are upscale furniture, a dining/living room, bathroom, and full kitchen with a stove, sink and a microwave. ADA accommodations are available.
Future East Campus
A multipurpose athletic field and field house will create the new East Campus at the corners of St. Bernardine Street and Greenway Terrace. The 12-acre location will expand Alvernia's campus and offer students additional recreational space as well as innovative housing.
Alumni House
The newly renovated structure located on 329 St. Bernardine Street provides an ideal location for alumni to gather with faculty, staff and current students in an environment that fosters a sense of community. Alvernia Alumni House is open during normal business hours Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
